Who is AME D’ASIE the association managing this site?

The AME ASIA association created in February 2002 aims to provide assistance to Ethnic Minorities in ASIA in the areas of education, care, food, culture and entertainment.
She focuses particularly on helping children from remote villages and orphans to whom humanitarian aid from large organizations does not reach. It also intends to promote the rapprochement of children with their biological parents by maintaining contact and support.

Our actions are focused on 3 populations of children .

Street children:
In Phnom Penh, 10,000 children spend their days on the streets digging through trash. They are subject to physical and moral violence of all kinds: illnesses, prostitution, drugs... The Cambodian government is not able to cope.

Children from remote villages:
On site, 2 entirely volunteer people travel the countryside to distribute aid to children in villages that are too far away and not important enough for large NGOs.

Ragpicker children:
In the Phnom Penh landfill, kids arrive at 5 a.m. to throw themselves under the trucks emptying their dumpsters. The smell is pestilential, there is nothing comparable. During their lunch break between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. we will take the opportunity to give them a small meal, the composition of the meal varies depending on the means we have to buy them, we treat their wounds because these children often have nasty wounds. We also buy clothes for children under 10, as very young children are often naked.
